Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Provide direct instruction in academic, functional, and social-emotional skills.
- Adapt and modify curriculum to support diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff.
- Monitor and document student progress; communicate updates with families and IEP teams.
- Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment.
- Support behavioral interventions and apply evidence-based strategies.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal special education laws and regulations.
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and professional development activities.
Requirements:
- NC SLP License
- ASHA CCCs
- School experience preferred
